The more you read Lily's Licorice, the more you will realize that I am married to a complete NUT. He certainly keeps my life interesting.
After he got home tonight I realized there was a red car in the driveway instead of his white truck. I was quite concerned as to what on earth had happened to the white truck! Knowing him, I was really worried as to what was going to come out of his mouth. "Funny you should ask," he said while shaking his head and giggling. That made me even more worried! Turns out he has no clue where his keys are! This is the guy who locked his keys in the car at the Labor Day Party we were at on Monday too! Oh - by the way, a guy at work let him borrow his "extra" car to get home.
SO - this reminded me of a very silly thing my hubby did while we were dating. And I still married him! I should have known then! He lived real close to a Food Lion grocery store, so sometimes we'd drive there, sometimes we'd walk there. Well one day he got up to go to work and his car was missing! He freaked out, and called the police to report his car stolen! Well guess where the police found Mr. Licorice's car. You guessed it - the Food Lion parking lot. The ding-a-ling had driven to the store and walked home the night before!

So - OK, he doesn't know where the truck keys are, I got that. But then what's the deal with the red car?
I am confused. (But that could be that I did not have nearly enough caffeine today PLUS everyone is back to school and boy howdy do they need a lot of stuff! I predict lots of shopping this weekend)
Oops, I guess I neglected to mention that a nice guy at work for some reason had two cars at work that day and let him use that to get home. They are all a bunch of silliheads where he works. I'm glad to report we have the white truck back. Yeah!

haha, was he drunk? Im gonna do that with the next girl Im dating and if she sticks around Im gonna ask her to marry me, haha. ;-)
No he was not drunk! He was just coming home from work during both incidences. He just lacks some sense sometimes. He truly keeps my life interesting. It's all harmless, but silly.
